    A couple of pals build a cedar strip canoe each.

    There is nothing quite as permanent as a good temporary repair.

    I built a strip kayak back around 1974-75. Scratch-building separate hull and deck sections that would eventually match up properly and be joined by inside and outside seams was a fair bit of a challenge, but it worked out OK in the end.

    I have the strips and the moulds of a 16' stripper in the rafters of my workshop………………..
