Golden Gardens Get-together 5/7/22 - Seattle

A small boat get together to start off the boating season in Seattle. We will meet up on the beach on the south end of Golden Gardens Park about 10:00, then push off about 11:00. The plan is to set off north toward Carkeek Park for a leisurely row, a distance of about 2.25 miles. Stop for lunch, then row back again.

The intention is to have a relaxing boat outing to clean out the dust and work out the kinks that have built up over the last two years.

Any small boat is welcome. I am leaving "small" undefined. Shilshole Marina is just south of Golden Gardens, and the launch ramp is convenient to the beach.

Weather forecast is poor, 1/4" to 1/2" of rain and 10-15kts of wind are not conducive to a recreational row. Gotta cancel.
