Default What is this flush deck design?

A friend spied this boat in a commercial (I know not what about). Does anyone out there know the design?
    Thanks-

Looks like a Stone Horse, and what Bruce said.

the one in post 1 lacks the shearline "dip" between the coach roof and stern.

True, good catch. Not a Stone Horse.

    Wiz,
Ad seems to cover it all. I don’t know if it is a still shot or part of a video.

And does not the SH have a transom hung rudder?

Not a San Francisco One Design.either. It does have a bit of a Crocker look to it, though, donnit? Does Gartside have any flush deck designs?

Crocker would have had the low point of the shear further forward, and raised it higher at the stern.

This Bud MacIntosh boat listed for sale over at OffCenterHarbor.com is close, but not identical.

I imagine a heat gun and a scraper would make short work of that gold leaf on the transom.

Some boats almost deserve bad names, but that beauty deserves better.

Seems weird there’s no home port on the transom. If this is from a tv commercial maybe that transom is CGI?

Yeadon is right . The transom is altered to display the name of the boat. I did an image search for ads with sailboats and got this. But I still don't know what it is.

An Ed Burnett Frolic is pretty close. Though she's only 24ft, rudder's off the transom and a gaffer...

The design director who chose the fake name must not know about ongoing maintenance and other costs of ownership

Ah! The boat’s transom hung rudder was erased in pic! Does look like a larger Burnett design. Maybe 30’ +/-?

I thought your boat was bigger, but at 24 seconds in on your clip, it might be about 24ft...

It was drawn for Ed's dad. Traditional carvel, so there would be plank lines if you chose to, not the usual strip. There aren't any flush decker's shown in the bigger size, though that would be an owners choice to some extent.

I remember one being built in Ireland and one in England (the cream one above) thats been for sale a few times. Maybe there was a bermudan sail plan, but it's not shown in Ed Burnett's book (though Frolic is). Zinnia has such options.

Zinnia is the most handsome gaffer I've yet seen...was on the river here for a while.

Ed Burnett had mastered line and proportion and was producing magic. He's not forgotten.

Cornish flag! His (with Irens) Western Skiff will be the closest I'll get...in time. In profile you can superimpose the profile of a Westrrn Skiff above the waterline and it's the same as his big Pilot cutters.

    Ed,
That Western Skiff is one I’ve fancied. Did you build? Any pics or posts?

Not an answer, but some narrowing of choices. According to those handling Ed Burnett’s catalog, the boat in question is not one of his. Maybe Nautica knows.
