I really would share a lot more photos, and more of myself generally if the forum software was not such an arse.
No side supports/guys for something that top heavy? I hope the ramps were even & the trailer was steady!

The seller loaded it before I had paid him.
I put 6 ratchet straps on it once I handed over the cash.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

i’ve come to depend on ports and passes for my navigation around the islands here. Just marked up to tide charts I need and more importantly times to pass through the many Narrows around here. Means the cruising season is about to be underway, come hell or highwater.
Sunday, around 2 PM, it all begins!

Found this old piece of mirror in my spare room. Mirrors are a PITA for photographers. Painters don't suffer the same problem.

That looks like a sturdy river launch, similar to those on the UK, perhaps with a more interesting stern. Lovely. Yours?
I rarely have trouble posting pics. Doesn't matter if quick reply or advanced, I just follow the steps & the pics appear.

This morning's non-mammalian visitors to the front porch, a June bug, right on time, and one I've not seen before, a striped hawk moth.

That's odd, I post images every day in the cartoons thread and rarely have any trouble. The only problem I've run into is trying to post an image much larger than 500k. Resizing the image down to less than 500k fixes it.
Indeed. My phone takes photos at around 8-12 mb, so for starters I have to process them. Arse. My Nikon can be up to 30mb.. Then more than half the time I'll upload a series of 5 photos, hit save, and three of them don't show. Arse. Then I have to edit the photos. Arse. Then sometimes it still does not work. Arse. Then I log out, log in, do it all again. More arse. Waiting for a 15mb photo to save as 2mb is painful, as is waiting for WBF software to upload it.
Writing a thread here with lots of photos us a full time job, and Im really busy and don't need to fight crappy outdated software on top of everything else I'm doing. It should be a pleasure, but it's really not.
This post is temporary and my disappear at the discretion of the managment
Limiting the size of photos/images makes sense though. With hundreds uploaded every day, big files add up to a ton of server space needed. Additionally, those with less than speedy internet connections have to wait, and wait for big files to display.
If you want to keep them big, find a hosting service, upload them to there & link to them from the forum - the way we used to have to do it.
I worked with a customer that had a website with huge graphics on it (100+ at 2-5MB each). The marketing dept couldn't understand why customers were complaining, but I showed them how long each image took to load on an iPhone & they were shocked. They used a very fast cable connection for their web work, so had no idea what it was like for people relying on slower speeds.

A wander around our local area this AM. See the white stakes?

And looking the other way this afternoon. Nice light, calm for a change. You can just pick out the stakes hard left.
