Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

Well it beats the frontal lobotomy that turns one into a conservative.

I’m finding my politics drifting to the right lately, for a number of reasons. I’m truly hoping for some better options in 2022 and 2024.

I also am drifting significantly to the right. I was once a huge AOC fan, but lately find my opinions tending toward the right edge of the Progressive agenda.

Anyone going right enough to forgo Medicare and SS when old enough? Anyone right enough to forgo unemployment insurance if laid off? Etc?

I’m drifting vertically, getting lighter, more indifferent to two dimensional duality.

There is no such thing as the American right that does not include Trump Jr&Sr, Boebert, Cruz, Greene, etc.

Trump was FDR. Someday you will see the true Right.

It is conventionally accepted that Trump was a populist and in 2016 got traditional Democrat voters to vote for him based on what were at one time largely moderate Democrat positions on policy. Not surprising since Trump used to be a Democrat.

As for the future, Trump spent like he was FDR. I do not think that there is any buying power remaining in the "good faith and credit" our fiat currency is based on. I don't think the Left or Progressives can return to normal times. FDR had a war. Uncle Sam currently doesn't have one on the horizon. Voters will soon be looking to a private sector to improve their standard of living, the post Trump GOP.

Trump: FDR goes over to the Dark Side. No thanks.
