    Default 4-leaf clover?

New, out of the box. Is this like finding a four-leaf clover?

Wouldn't that be a no leaf clover?

Whichever, the head certainly is flat!

Once driven, it’ll be very tamper-resistant.

It's a thumb screw if you're tough enough.

Talk about timing - my news aggregate had a story from 'Gizmodo' about an inventor named Andrew Klein, who, it seems has invented a screw with a springloaded center that makes the center hole 'disappear' when not in use. The guy has a video up on YouTube, but it's too early in the day for me to descend into a rabbit hole ( As always, no affiliation with any of the above )

The more I look at this, the more meditative it becomes. I expected something from this screw, that I may have erred in expecting...

Pound it in. When you need to back it out, cut a slot for a flat screwdriver tip with a dremel cut-off wheel. It's a good technique for extracting centuries old phillips screws, too. Better than digging them out.

Send a pic to the distributor and ask if they still carry these special screws and what the cost is for a pound or a box of a hundred. Then send a follow-up asking if they still sell the driver tips for them.

The Emperors' new driver tip. Maybe it was in the box, and I couldn't see it?
