Default Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival 2021 photos

    Hi all,

I've always enjoyed seeing these photo threads in the past, so hopefully more images come to roost here. I'll start with highlighting by boat type. There are well cared for, and expertly sailed Coquinas that come often.

This event is well attended by melonseeds, and here's a newly constructed one.

This year, the Traditional Small Craft Association was a sponsor of the event. Glad to see it was a great success!

Nice photos, but you need to crop out the fiberglass boat and her unrepentant owner on the right in this one.

It was another great event with fabulous weather and people and I am really glad I was able to make it.

    Hi,

I think it's wonderful that such a lovely assortment of smallish boats can each be quite different but all have sweet lines!

Thanks ad for taking the time to take the photos and then taking the time to post them!!

    Regards,
    Alan

Very good photos! Thanks. I’m sure Reynard will enjoy seeing two of the boats he built so nicely represented.

Thanks everyone. This weekend is typically one of the highlights of my year. This year was great, as the weather was perfect. Tenting on the museum grounds, coffee and doughnuts offered in the mornings, good showers, a true and working shipyard on campus, what's not to like? I should be honest, there were years when the weather didn't cooperate, but we'll forget those for now. Also, it may have been the pandemic, but this year wasn't as well attended.

I'd like to make it out to Port Townsend some day.

Fantastic Pics! This was the first time we have missed the festival in 20 years. Thank you pandemic. With these photos, I can feel, smell and taste the environment. I can say also, from past experience, that those two Lowndes Johnson 18s are as rewarding to sail as they are pretty. I can also say that on the several times that I have sailed them at MASCF, they never failed to make me look good, and I have the ribbons to prove it. Trust me, it's the boats!
