In France the remedy for a “mediocre salad is a great crepe. In this case a chocolate Nutella and a pomme cinnamon for me.

The trip to Victor Hugo’s was well worth it. Since it was almost across the street. Why not. Now I have a much greater interest of his writings and life. The man was so dynamic and talented.

Take note how few folks there are in the photos.

Four euros for a lager? Dang!

While I'm enjoying the pictures, it almost looks as empty as my parent's honeymoon in Paris in 1958. Hordes of old colour kodachrome slides of, well, deserted streets.

Four euros is cheap compared to where I live.

Really is like 1958. This is a rare time in our era that this is as good as it is. A reminder of what was before. If you ever wanted to see Paris or France in the purest old french form it is now.

Footsteps of Cezanne, Part 1. Let me know if we need a new thread on this video series. Want each one to be under 2 mins.

The other 2 will be even better.

It was. I wish I had not been so worried about work. Self employed problems.
