Lots to see and discover in the urban waterways. Two thumbs up!

    Thank you!

Not kayaking, but on Tuesday evening I went out for a sail with a friend - leaving from City Island, NY. Sure is different for this Maine/Lake Champlain sailor cruising along with the NY City skyline as a backdrop! In addition the boatyard was truly old fashioned funky with boats in various states of disrepair, junk boat stuff everywhere, & docks that went at various angles depending on wind & load. A number of steel boats, a couple of woodies including a CC that is (slowly I was told) being restored & some classic & just plain old plastic. I bet the newest boat was 25 years old. My kinda place.
