Default I Bought a Shellback Dinghy

After seeing the one I posted, I searched for others and found one. I bought it on Tuesday and sailed it yesterday. It sails well, though the tacks were pretty wide. I'll work on that, and might add some inside ballast. The boat is a bit rough, I'll do some filling and painting in spring. I'm thinking semi-gloss gray may hide some of it's flaws.

I've sailed the boat a few more times, and like it. I've also put it in service as a tender to my ketch. Only solo rowing in calm to moderate breeze so far, but I really like it. A coat of paint and some ring nails helped it considerably.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

Neat! I need to get the Handy Cat in the water. Geez, I got a lot of boats I need to get in the water.
