Default An enjoyable series for anyone interested in muzzleloaders

I’ve been enjoying watching this guys work on how to build a flintlock, 'thought it worth sharing

I’m currently building a Baker Rifle flintlock (from a TRS kit) and, as well as simply enjoying watching his work and the way he describes it, I have found this series quite helpful and inspiring.

“Give it a try”, whispered the heart.

I've built several over the years. Harvested a couple of whitetails with them too. My favorite uncle and I spent the entire week of NY's muzzleloader season primitive camping along the Kunjamuck River for the better part of 20 years. I just found out today that he probably isn't going to make it to Monday (he's been battling prostate cancer for the last 5 or 6 years). I'm sad and a bit nostalgic tonight but your post was just the thing to bring the memories to the front. And they are good memories so thank you for that.
