motor | 1970 Chevy L-88 427 650+HP The J-II class was the "stock class" except for safety issues we are running the boat just the same as George ran it. The only exception is we added the lettering to the hull and replaced the Holly carburetor with a new Holly. George always kept 3 L-88's at the ready when he was running a full season and we acquired all 3 along with the spare parts, so the Chesapeake Lady will live out her time with us as an all original boat. |
