And the unfortunate Bertone 911. you can see they were still thinking of the Fiat 850 Spider here:

I'd much rather lay in my bunk all freakin day lookin at Youtube videos .
I rode one of these for years. Did a cross country with it.... NJ -> California -> NJ in 1975

I had a buddy that had a Fiat 850. Lived in California, then moved to Florida. He drove that little Fiat towing a Hobie Cat behind. The trailer with boat was longer & wider than the Fiat. Couldn't go too fast, but made it OK.
Yet to be bettered for looks.
A less well known Italian vehicle with an exotic badge.

Oh you're talking about that yellow thing in the background, sorry, I was slightly distracted. I actually remember in the late 70's when the Dino marquee could be picked up for extremely reasonable money as it was viewed as "not" a Ferrari. They now can command some real money at auction.

when i was turning sixteen years old in 1986, our neighbor sold a dino for $17K
he used the proceeds to purchase a ferrari daytona
at the same time another friend of our family had an original unrestored ~50Kmile camaro copo zl1 for sale that went for $25K - a couple years later reggie jackson exploded the camaro collector market and these were qtr million dollar cars over night
i ended up with a transam and a tr6 - i did okay

He!!, in 1972 a Dino 246 GT could be bought new for under 14k and 6 years later in 1978 they depreciated like most other cars of the day and could be bought in the 8 to 9k range.
They languished in local papers as people were afraid of potentially really expensive repair bills. There was also a bit of a recession at the time which likely contributed to the purchase hesitancy. Today that 9k investment could fetch north of 300k, not a bad rate of return for a 43 year investment.

Talking of the 206 and 246 Dinos.. you forget the other two sisters to the Fiat/Ferrari alliance. The Fiat Dino Spider and Coupe'

Unfortunately while never common, they are much more rare than the Ferrari versions. Because the Ferrari twins are worth so much money, Many of the fiat's lost their engines and were destroyed to repower the Ferraris

Some Italian design on show here, and some other stuff in the background.

Very nice. I've got a couple of red Italian things. Most used at the moment is a red Alfa 156. Sweet little thing. A friend gave it to me last year. I'd been driving one of his black Alfa 159 diesels (he's got a matching pair - auto and manual, both in five cylinder diesel). The 156 is a manual twin spark. Sweet little thing.
Had to enjoy looking through this whole thing again to make sure nobody had posted a Birdcage yet:

Wonderfull stuff. There is an immaculate F 500 locally, in Red. If I remember, the gears were not syncro...
Sure I mentioned (more than once) how our chairman at the aircraft base, bought the Ferrari he had raced, for £6K. It was 'last years car ' so a bit slower than the newer ideas and a bit passée. He kept the 250 GTO for quite a few years...
'72 Alfa Romeo Monteal.
V8, double wishbone front, live rear axle. It's LSD should guarantee power oversteer and splendid donuts.

Probably the best thing about the current Fiat 500 Abarth was the TV commercial:
I was never impresses with the new ones, but a friend had a 600 Abarth that was a HOOT!
I have photos of possibly this same car, but can't find them on computer. Must be in one of the boxes of film prints.

Truly one of the most beautiful motorcycles. I had 500 on the bike and was on the waiting list.

I got new carpets instead when my wife got the first phone call the bike was in.

Anybody remember the Abarth OT 1600 ?
It was a an 850 saloon, not the most attractive of the line, with an Abarth 1600 twin cam with 160hp stuffed up it's chuff. Think it was Car mag that tested it. Thought it was great fun , but best on a track. The only 'give away' were the fat tyres.
