Default Ever thought of putting your truck on a dyno?

There is nothing quite as permanent as a good temporary repair.

The guy on the bottom had good instincts. And nice readiness by the fire extinguisher guys.

Just a tiny bit too much boost? Or possibly an oil seal blew and the engine starting consuming it’s own lubricating oil.

Sort of Heisenbergian; you don't know how powerful the engine is, only, how powerful it was.

That fireball wasn't fuel oil or lube oil. That looked like nitrous, in which case I have absolutely zero pity.

I'd guess that truck was a diesel by the exhaust & sound. I didn't know nitrous was used with diesels, but I guess it is. Why propane Paul?

2920 HP was impressive, 2921, not so much.

I watched the video on YouTube, there was another suggested video interview with the owner of the truck. Apparently he is trying to break a "3000 horsepower truck on a dyno" record. The truck is pretty much in pieces, not for the first time either, but he's planning on trying again.
