Cool BROTM for March ? Nominations here...

Who would like to play the game? Whom do you think would be a prolific, positive poster?

I'd like to see FredZ as BROTM - but that is for obvious reasons, somewhat impractical - So as a recognition that NZ is hosting this year's "America's Cup" and that the finals are this coming month...

Could we have all the NZ rats in a team effort to be Bilge Rat Team Of The Month - i notice that JohnB has made an impressive start with recent rat specific posts.

Team Z, I could get behind that. Maybe we could draw Seanz out of hiding to round out the group.

Last time Fredz, speaking of Zs, was nominated he campaigned for the other guys.

My first nomination and from my good virtual buddy and fellow Rottweiler aficionado Paul P, I am humbled to even be considered and nominated but I don't know if I'm up to the task.

I'm not sure if I could come up with enough topics and threads, let alone be certain as to which ones to pick that would entertain this mob given my interests are all over the block, if I'm understanding the responsibilities of the position. Heck I've never even been to the pub and my replies to threads is a miserable 3k and change. Threads I've started would amount to less than a dozen, yeah I don't think I'm the guy.

So the only disqualification Kevin T has is not posting in the pub? Let the voting begin and Bluedog you can't slip out that easy

I think he'd be a fine Bilge Rat. I think he misunderstood the qualifications... and thought that the pungent secrets lurking in his past would bias people against him. I suggest to him that a good sex scandal would only enhance his credentials for THIS position. <G>

I second the motion that this missing element is a disqualifying factor and therefore second the nomination of the "Z Brothers," Fredz and Seanz.

Standing by, ready to launch the campaign for the Z Boys and here is their first action packed campaign ad. Full disclosure the two Z boys in question may or may not be in this short film.

    Go, Kevin T!!!!
I'm going to assume that the last line bolded in your post is your approval and hiring of me as your political consultant and campaign manager. I'm going to need 20k a week for the position, but since March starts tomorrow I'll settle for a beer next time I'm in Chicagoland visiting my cousin.

Now I think we should start a whisper campaign claiming your opponents are not really wooden boat fans but are closet members of the rotomolded boating community and sip their tea from fine porcelain cups with the little finger extended out into the air instead of out of proper stoneware mugs. Say the word boss and I shall loose the dogs of war. Go Z Boys Go!
