    Yes, I wouldn't intentionally go out in 6 footers around here, but it is nice to know that you can make it home or head to the nearest safe harbor in the event you get caught out in them.

    There is a V-bottom power boat being built on Tips from a Shipwright (youtube). I believe it is 23'. It is carvel planked with fiberglass on the outside. This would be something worth doing if I could integrate the pilothouse on it. I suspect they are building the boat open, maybe a steering station?
