    Default Whale shaped number boards

Iíve noticed a number of Brockway skiffs here on Long Island Sound sporting a particular shape of number boards on their bows. It is, I think, a stylized whale profile, with a rounded front end and just a suggestion of flukes at the back.
It being winter, I canít find any to look at. (And copy)
Are there any images out there?
And, I think I only see them on Brockways. Is it a club? Do I have to do something to earn the right to display them? Like kill a whale? single handedly? in the winter? Naked?
They will go on a boat I built myself, if thatís any consideration.

    I'm gonna guess local custom.

Like you, someone saw one and liked it and so on...

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

The internet is full of whale-profile-shaped flat things, mostly wooden - cheese boards, cribbage boards and all sorts of signs. Some of them might make pretty decent profiles to copy to make your own number boards.

Thanks, Todd. What I had seen looks more like this:C741DA51-5C4D-42B5-BC75-7D9EC64C7092.jpg
Too many sticky outy parts would make it less than suitable.

My Brother has had this on his transom for about 40 years.
