Working boat interior photos?

Does anyone have any good photos of working boat interiors whether fishing boats, small tugs, power, sail, pilothouse, cabin, bunks, you name it? I am having a hard time coming up with any that are not fancy yacht pics or (with apologies to our hosts) shiny varnished Woodenboat magazine examples far removed from their working history. Thanks!

I do a lot of commercial boat work, but nobody - I mean nobody - in the commercial world seems to want a wood interior. Fire regulations, too much maintenance, etc. What exactly are you looking for in the pictures? Joinery style? Layout? Construction details?

Thanks, J. Madison, I actually already spent some time looking over that "Rosalie" listing before I started this thread. If I were in the Northwest then finding a boat like that and converting it as a modest cruiser would be another way to go.

mmd, I am looking for inspiration as I consider tackling a project like Buehler's Captain Eddie. I'd like to see some examples of neat and presentable interiors that are mostly white paint and ordinary wood and plywood, oiled not varnished and without a trace of teak or polished brass in sight.

Don't know if these will help much, a couple of before and afters of our boat "Snoose", a 37' converted salmon troller.

On a related note, are folks finishing the inside of the hull itself, whether planks or plywood? I have heard some say to let it breath inside, others to finish everything everywhere.

Yes, there is a Wallas diesel forced air furnace mounted in the pilot house and ducted fore and aft. It doesn't blast you out, but it certainly makes it somewhat comfortable in cold weather.

Snoose has a full ceiling which is painted, but the inside face of the hull between the hull and ceiling is not finished. (And I know most of you know, but for the few who might not, the ceiling is not the overhead, but rather the "inner hull", or planking applied to the inner face of the frames.)

Thanks I figured the oil stove would heat the f'c'scle and the pilothouse, but wasn't sure about the back cabin.

I had a diesel furnace ducted to both cabins. It died. I put a woodstove in the main cabin, but there is no heat in the back cabin.

My boats interior is put together a bit differenly than others, as I am a crappy carpenter.
I litteraly just epoxy filet the whole thing together.Spot glue with temp braces. Minimum fastenings.Minimum framing.Almost nothing square.Much of it was built of palets as I was poor when she was built.
The downside is that there is a lotta grinding band sanding .
