I think of Trump less as the first former President indicted for felonies and more as the first felon elected President
"They have a lot of stupid people that vote in their primaries. They really do. I'm not really supposed to say that but it's an obvious fact. But when stupid people vote, you know who they nominate? Dangerous times for America and its stability. Beau thinks so too, he sounds very uncertain. I would say that any of your legal and civil institutions are somewhat shaky and prone to partisan leaks and actions present.
Ive recently been reading about Trumps connections with Epstein back with the model agencies and the beauty pageants. Their falling out was over a mansion in Florida that Epstein had his heart set on to buy and he showed it to Trump for advise on purchasing. Trump then when behind his back and bought it for himself, never lived in it and sold it after a short time at a good profit. There is so much dirt connected to Trump it is staggering that he had the gumption to run for president. That he got away with his playing the system to avoid payments etc for so long is in one way not surprising for someone totally embedded in that mindset but to run for office is a choice that will put the spotlight on you, like it or not, it is inevitable.
He and his enablers must have got too use to being able to get away with their scheming around and beyond the limit of legality that it was normalised.
With all this in mind, to see how he acts in response to the attention he has attracted in looking into his dealings and his playing the victim and whipping up sympathy and fanatical support from a significant proportion of the US population is a reality that marks him as a very dangerous felon, a lier and manipulator without a conscience who will stop at nothing is he can get away with it. There has to be a deep depravity to his personality and the notion of him having a moral compass with respect to his political and business ambitions is non existent. Add to this the reality that he seemingly has cheated on every wife he has had and his relational moral compass follows no bearing as well.
There is a second case of a secret payment made to buy the silence of a woman Trump was involved with that is just in the last few days been mentioned. I think that there is probably a mountain of activity Trump could face legal consequences for if all stops where pulled.........

As far as futher indictments pending and now imminent, he's also facing criminal indictment in the case of the rape allegation by E. Jean Carroll, under a new law that allows prosecution for cases beyond of the standing statute of limitations, in order to have justice for victims who have for some reason been outside that time limit to press charges for various sex abuse violations, like child molestation, and including rape. Her allegation is that trmp forced himself on her in a dressing room in a high end NY department store. That case is also in a NY jurisdiction, with a different prosecutor than Bragg. And rape is a felony for which he's not going to get a pass with only a fine. I don't think there's a fine for rape; it's the slammer if he's found guitly.

There is always the 14th Amendment to bar him from the presidency. Theoretically, at any rate.

There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.
A search for Trump Underwear turns up some curious stuff:

Pacifiers for Anxiety in Adults: Does They Work, and Are They Safe?
What’s behind the human urge to use a pacifier, especially in adulthood? It’s unclear.
As an infant, though, you likely found suckling or using a pacifier soothing. It’s not a stretch to think that you might gravitate back to this as an adult in times of stress.
Cason offers another potential explanation, explaining that adults can develop an oral fixation and seek to soothe anxiety through oral means, like chewing on a pen or biting nails.
This idea of oral fixation comes from psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud’s theories around the psychosexual stages of development.
Long story short, Freud suggested that, during the first year of life, the libido is found in the mouth. That’s why, according to this theory, infants tend to put just about anything in their mouth.
“The Freudian theory is that people with an oral fixation develop an unmet oral need in childhood,” Cason says.

Just came across reports that Trump has sent out the address and full name of the wife of the New York DA. If correct this is beyond the pale and Trump should be issued a cease and desist notice. This is a legal option that should be enacted in these circumstances.

Well I’m an outsider looking on and this USA North South antagonism is interesting in How Trump has chosen his trajectory. Makes me think he is a bit of a dill or a grifter who will stop at nothing. More likely he is a combination of the two. So as I type on my bloody iPhone he if flying to New York, his home town where he has a history of not paying debts and other unsavoury shenanigans. In other words New Yorkers know him from way back and his BS doesn’t cut it! He has his play house down south and panders to the southern mindset along with all its prejudice and antagonism towards the North and amasses a following and bleeds them for cash and devotion the the cause… his cause in reality, twisting the narrative so the North is against him and everything the North does is unfounded victimisation not only of him but also against the south. The stupid prick is walking into the beginnings of a showdown and is attempting to bring the south with him against the north.….. just so he can get away with, on a grand scale, the grifting the New Yorkers know he got away with historically!
The stage is set. This is where it begins. Do the accountability mechanisms have the fortitude to see it through?
Looking at twitter I see, new to me, some fairly angry NJ determination to give some New York hospitality…. Or more accurately, reality checks to visiting southerners who would choose to grace the streets with their anger and devotion to the object of their false hope and misguided fervour.
Interesting times lie just around the corner but in the mix, the USA will in the very near future need a leader who will speak to the lies that have lead to this showdown.

Agreed, it more complicated. He is also tapping into the culture war and the Christian right. Milking it for what it’s worth but also a reflection of his self serving political outlook.
