Yes, a pou from the poul tree. What I was referring to.

Ha! As I walked up to the barn and saw it, toboggan was my first thought. Either great minds, you should be worried, or both.

Loved the "new life" above. How old in that pic?

There used to be an annual cricket game played on that sandspit.
If I remember right it was Fullers Staff V Dept of Conservation staff.
I might be wrong about the players though.

I didn't know that. We've had a few breakfasts and sundowners there over the years.

yes. but a solid black offspring is not expected. the white park coloration is actually dominant.

There's a small colony a few hundred yards from our place Bernadette. They've destroyed our years crop of apricots and have now hit the plums. A few test bites in the pears as well. And we're constantly reminded that they're protected. I'm sure once the vignerons realise that the bats also like grapes something will be done- wine growers are as close to royalty as we get here JayInOz

Thanks. It's the barn, but I could do gutters - though they can't protrude too far on a 10/12 roof - for the reasons you noticed.

I just wish I'd extended the eaves further - as snow pile too close to the doors. Oh well...

Jay, not good for sure from a commercial perspective. I do enjoy bats, always have. As our garden matures we are getting more visitors including the bat (I think it was off course as there was no others about) and now the Cairns Birdwing butterfly for which I grow the host vine, wallabies and many bird species. But still no bees.
