Is Neera Tanden a stalking horse?
Maybe.
The other Biden appointee proposals represent a great deal of specific competence in their respective assignments, and ought to be a great deal less controversial... but Neera Tanden is a liberal firebrand, and her mention has ignited a great deal of angst among the right wing chattering class.
Could it be that she's not really the serious candidate... but meant to let the right wing vent a bit before a more moderate candidate is announced?

We'll see. Given the senate confirms DeVos and others, seems hard to find a valid reason to not confirm any of Bidn's nominees.
Now he's gone. If only he'd be forgotten.

She is a centrist Democrat, not too far off the beaten path, if with an acute on line presence on the twitter, but not, a stalking horse. She is the real deal, too bad John Cornyn and his ilk are such snowflakes.

If she is, it may disappoint many people who voted for Mr. Biden because they thought he would be more honest and trustworthy than Mr. Trump.
