I have taken my boat out myself - but I sailed main only.

Now with an autopilot, I can put up the jib!

Why is there no comfortable place to sit on deck? And standing at the helm like that makes for dramatic video but how long do you want to really want to stand that watch in anything less than stellar conditions?

Remember it will be the captain and crew on the dog watch in a gale. The owner of such a vessel will be below... or will have flown ahead.

She was built in 2006, had a refit in 2015, and carries a crew of three. All carbon fibre. For sale for a paltry twelve million euros. The interior is rather slick (at least it has overhead grabrails):

The single-hander would have lots of fun rushing up and down those stairs with no grabrails while doing an emergency repair in a gale.

What would all those little lines going through the clutches control? They don't have a fair lead to the winches and I can't think of anything that could be pulled by hand on a rig of that size.
