    Thanks, guys. This birthday is traditionally considered a big one as I'm 75 today. Three quarters of a century sounds like a lot but doesn't feel all that much, at least in in my head.

    A real non event in the time of covid, it's just another day in the life with nothing special planned to mark it. I'm fine with that. There is nothing anybody can give me or do that would make my day except tendering sincere good wishes so thanks for helping to make my day!

    El Presidente

    2 parts rum
    1 part dry vermouth
    1 part dry Curaçao
    1 healthy splash of fresh grenadine or fresh raspberry syrup.

    Stir well over ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Serve with a citrus twist.
