Not huge tasks, but the basics, and it integrates into existing workflow. It’s what happens when they stop updating the firmware /android version on the camera and you’ve an unsecure brick that’d suck.

The BEST camera in the world is the one you have at the time of inspiration 99% of the time thats an iPhone.

it's exceptional compared to phone cameras five years ago
other than it's overwhelming convenience factor, i'd rather use almost any other camera than my iphone

Then you’re just not a good photographer Photography is NOT about equipment. It’s about framing, composition & story my iPhone takes just as good photos as Henri Carter-Bresson took in 1954 - ( Damn it if I cant find the photo of the bow walking Ella I shot ) Anyway you get the idea

Cartier Bresson chose a 35mm Leica because it was smaller and less obtrusive than medium format. Answlm Adams shot (mostly) with a big camera.

I just bought a Z7 with an actual lens. I have been completely frustrated with a 15 mp flat feild phone camera. Yes, I know iPhone does psuedo FOV, stop your internal dialogue, and while I agree with you that one can make good photos with a phone, you will never convince me that they are as good as a proper camera. The discipline is to carry it everywhere, which differenciates fan boys from photographers.

zeiss makes canon and nikon mount lenses

of course nikon nor canon had/have any reason to cosy up to zeiss they make their own glass as good as anybody

Sony revolutionized with their mirrorless a7R system. For me it's either Sony a7R IV or Leica SL2 mirrorless.

The difference in available native mount lenses is fairly stark between the two.

twodot I totally respect your’s and mmd and a few others opinion when it comes to photography. BTW I love your work. So, I'm in no way saying that I'm HCB but I happen to think the two images are closer than timeless & nice. I would like to hear your unblemished critique as to the difference.

I chose the two photos because I think they are closer to the intended composition and framing than timeless & nice.

Again mine was taken with a 2015 iPhone.

Regarding the depth of field my photo was pre iPhone X ProMax with portrait mode.
