I would say that the last week of such a desperate and divisive term and campaign is NOT the time to be looking at any of the party and privately funded political events and advertising.

I think there are 6 states currently up for grabs: AZ,OH, PA, NC, GA, and FL. Without those five states, I have Biden at 259, Trump at 170. The smallest number of those states in the EC is Arizona with 11. That means Trump has to run the table of all 5 states. It might happen, the polls are narraowing and Trump hit all the needed states in 2016, but it is drawing to an inside straight. 538's current odds are about right.

This range of results are anywhere from
    - Trump squeaks out an EC win but loses the populare vote by 3 points

    to

    - Biden wins 350 EC votes and the popular vote by 10.

I will add that the latter case is not as big of a win as I had expected a month ago (nay 2 weeks ago).

Even as the election draws this close (one week away), I cannot come to any conclusion as to the outcome... other than the notion that the closer it is, in the week of election, the more chaos and lawsuits will be the result.
"Reason and facts are sacrificed to opinion and myth. Demonstrable falsehoods are circulated and recycled as fact. Narrow minded opinion refuses to be subjected to thought and analysis. Too many now subject events to a prefabricated set of interpretations, usually provided by a biased media source. The myth is more comfortable than the often difficult search for truth."

The poll numbers, which lag of course, show a small bit of tightening. But lots of Senatorial tRump-distancing going on. While I'd love to see a landslide Biden victory... I'm not laying any odds.

I see from today’s Daily Mail that the Trumpery are having another shy at Hunter Biden. The timing suggests that they know this one will stand even less scrutiny than the laptop saga did:

There is no indication that the first pass worked at all... and some indication that it backfired.

Yahoo News/YouGov poll: Despite questions about the 'laptop from hell,' most Americans think the Trumps are more 'corrupt ' than the Bidens

But they're really down to very few options. And any of the effective ones are outside tRump's comfort zone/capabilities.

Seconded! He has nothing left to prove, but can help a friend and a cause that he believes in, and have fun doing it!
