Food stamps, welfare, etc. help the wealthy
Everyone seems to think that food stamps simply help the poor. Or welfare simply helps the poor.
ANY assistance the poor get is money (in one form or another) that they spend, and it trickles up to the wealthy.
Mom takes the food stamps to the grocery store and buys food. These stamps translate into money for the farmers, the cereal makers, and all those in the chain that gets the food from the farm to the shopping cart.
"Banning books in spite of the 1st amendment, but refusing to regulate guns in spite of "well regulated militia' being in the 2nd amendment makes no sense. Can't think of anyone ever shot by a book
