    Default herreshoff 12 1/2

Time to order the bronze stuff.
I am happy to order from J M Reineck but I have seen that Ballentine Boatworks also offer similar items[not blocks].
BB say their items are cast by Edson Foundry. Can't find any recommendations in the forum.
Are they the same quality or indeed are they the same?
    The traveller is definitely theirs.

    Second question.
when did the masthead cone for the gaff rigged H12 first appear?

    Advice,comments appreciated

I made my own parts where ever I could. But the parts I ordered from Ballentines were all top drawer. Those parts included: pintles/gudgeons, foredeck cleat, bow chocks, and gooseneck.

I deal with the Port Townsend Foundry. They have over two thousand of my own patterns. Pete Langey is the owner there take a moment to check out some of their classic custom castings as well as their stock items. They can even cast you a bronze Herreshoff Anchor! https://www.porttownsendfoundry.com/marine-hardware

I ordered some bronze hardware from Ballentines for the Herreshoff Biscayne 14 I am building. They were an absolute pleasure to do business with and the quality is excellent.
