I suppose so, but I was thinking how cleanly he had so many sails in such a short boat. I was impressed with the unsimple simplicity (or maybe that is the simple unsimplicity).

She's cute, and unlike many tiny boats she has a nice clean run which probably makes her much more efficient. And yes, the rigging generally looks very good.

The clew return of the boomless main puts my teeth on edge, though. Thinking about the poor air molecules getting beaten up in that turbulence makes me feel like someone watching grey paving paint getting rolled onto a classic yacht's varnish by a painter wearing hobnailed stilletoes with crampons on a laid deck. Being in harmony with nature means being kind to airstreams too. :-)
