Product of Woodenboat USA in Ontario, CA . Lots more boats on eBay. Not clear where their shop is. Seem very shiny. John

I'm curious to know where on Earth they're being constructed.

Nice enough to look at but some strange details. Rudder, but no other sign of a sailing rig. No oarlocks, and shown with a paddle which seems pretty useless in that boat. The thwarts don't seem positioned very well for either rowing or paddling. I'm not sure what the box is for? And those little bollards do not seem very useful. Really it seems more like decor than a real boat.

I wouldn’t touch ‘em with a 10 foot pole! Gift shop crap, but bigger. That 6’ canoe is a death trap if you put it in the water... I mean, c’mon! The other things Chris points out are dead give always that these aren’t for real boat people...

btw, varnished wood really doesn’t make a boat ‘pretty’ even though that’s the typical response. Don’t fall for it.

True dat, I'm thinking the cutaway rudder and skeg is for an inboard engine, maybe that is what the box is for as well.
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

Maybe Nick, but I'm guessing the cutaway rudder is so that it will sit flat on a floor as decoration. It's being sold by a home furnishing company. I'll bet it's not even water tight.

I saw the shipping location was Ontario, California. But I'm a-bettin' it was built in some distant land, and is not to be trusted as a "boat".
I was just curious if someone might have decided to go for one.

It weights 200 lbs? I doubt that unless it's very heavy cedar!
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Looks like it'd make a great salad bar in a restaurant when they open up again. Stand it on the transom with book shelves in it?

118.5" long? Who TF measures a boat like that? I agree, except a 20 foot pole.

They are made in Vietnam. they seem to build model boats up to full size kayaks and canoes. Nice well lit spacious factory from the video images. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JCt4UUj0yA

I watched the entire video that WATERWYTCH posted above. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JCt4UUj0yA ]
I enjoyed it. I am not knowledgeable on the subject of wooden small watercraft construction, so I have no idea if
what we see is valid. Who knows which glues, and epoxies are being used, and if these watercraft will be durable to
    any degree?

I was thinking the same as cstevens, obviously made by people who can mimic but don't understand what they are making. Pretty but useless.
