Default "It is what it is."

The Democratic Party is already turning this into a campaign slogan.

He should have said, "It is what it is because I are a stable genius."

The bottom line of Trump's response.......

Human life is expendable thus contravening one of the foundational principles of western civilisation.

This proclaims loud and clear that Trump is not fit for office.

This measure should also be applied to any and every Govt Administration that commits US and allied forces to go to or continue to wage war. Therefore applied to citizens of other countries with respect to the sanctity of human life, many US Presidents and their administrations are culpable to a greater or lesser extent. Applied to US domestic populations, the Trump administration's response to the Covid 19 pandemic stands out as the pinnacle of dehumanising behaviour seen thus far in a Western Democracy, perhaps a defining low point that will be seen for future generations as either a turning point for improvement or the beginning of a cataclysmic decent.

In an interview, Trump referred to COVID as "It is what it is." It was lacking compassion? The Democrats are turning it into a commentary on his presidency.

Thought it was from the beginning, so did the WHO.

Interesting re masks, the only absolutely safe mask is a FITTED respirator mask. Far health care workers essential, and not be the remit of the hospital, but an independent authority. There's a great deal of reorganisation to be done, and people business and politicians are not yet in a mindset to cope with that on top of the daily shocks they already have.

Funny / not funny. That is very similar to a common Newfoundland saying: “It is what it is b’y”, typically answered with “yes b’y”. Mostly used in discussing something minor like a flat tire or the state of the economy. Not exactly what one would expect from a word leader with regards to a deadly pandemic.

Those five words mark the end of this presidency.

Just add them to the list of things he said that should end his presidency.

Could it be that he REALLY DID take hydroxychloroquine, and that this is the somewhat predictable result ??

And yet he still scores high with polling among Republicans. The lot of them need to go before they kill us all while chasing the almighty dollar.
