    Default Masks and merchants

It's pretty standard in my area for merchants to have 'masks required' signs at the entrance to their store. Today, in one market with such a sign, I noticed several people, including an employee, wearing masks that were not covering their nose.

While I don't wish any violent confrontation, if it were my store, I'd not serve these customers, and I'd address the employee.

Having thought about this on the way home, I sent a letter to our local paper expressing my gratitude for merchants who require masks, and my disappointment when they don't require those masks to be properly worn.

I'm planning on walking into a bank wearing a mask very soon. I need to deposit my tax refund and I don't like the machines for deposits.

I never thought I'd do that!

I walked into the bank on Tuesday wearing a mask. I also passed a piece of paper to the teller. OK, it was a deposit slip and a check for deposit. No problems.

We are s'posed to wear protective masks whenever we are in public places and in public & business buildings. I want one like this so nobody will know I'm wearing a mask:

Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

Canít remember the last time I entered a bank let alone talk to a bank employee, love the machine.

If I hade a mask with a face on it, it would be of someone better looking then me.

I said to the teller at the drive-in "I never thought I'd pull up to a bank wearing a mask & ask for money". She cracked up & said a whole lot of people had already done that.

@ the OP: I see a few uncovered noses & just kinda sigh...

I tried buying P2 dust masks for work in the boatshed. One shop had some but at $100 for 12, I declined. Another shop had 5 in a packet for $19. At the third shop I purchased 3 in a packet for $11.

That defeats the purpose. I'm not wanting nasty confrontations, but the store should simply refuse to serve these people. When they get to the check out, they don't get checked out.
