Fight Entropy, build a wooden boat!
Great boat. I'm making a 14 at the moment. Well, it's made, I'm painting now and adding metalwork and hatches now.
Love to see some pics and hear a review once you get her launched.

It was on my short list of designs before I chose the Jericho Bay Skiff. I'll start a thread on that soon.
The Tango has those sponsons on the arse end and I would want a trolling motor in that area in addition to the main motor so that kills that design for me as the sponsons would be in the way.
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.
What are the perceived advantages of that type of stern design?

I’m actually thinking of the smallest of the line, 12’. I’ve got a great motor for it, and it’s light weight would make it easy to haul up on then dock.
I use her solely for the protected creeks close to the dock.
When we want to go somewhere we’ve got a 24’ Superboat on the lift.
Had an interesting development on this possible build. My canvas guy has a CNC plotting table. It’s more than big enough for a sheet of Okume ply. He thinks he can download the PDF plan sheet into the program and draw the parts on the ply, or if I want onto Tyvec or Mylar for patterns. That would save some serious time.
