    ^Man that's pretty, and neat!

My deck has been getting a bit long so a trim was in order.

My view is more like this now. I like to call it the never ending story.

Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, June 2019 (sorry if it is too old). Subsequent to the drought in the area the river was quite low at the time.

    IMG_0638[1].jpg

Here are some people for perspective. The front of the Falls is between 800 and 1 000 metres wide, depending on how full the river is.

    IMG_0655[1].jpg

Looking down into the gorge. A little downriver from here, just around the corner in the top right-hand side, there is bungee-jumping for the brave souls. It is 110 metres high, and the pickup from the river by rubber duck is another adventure, thrown in for free.

    Cheers

I'll bet that I have looked at hundreds of photos of Victoria Falls over the years, and that is the first time I have seen one of the bottom of the gorge. Thanks, devout!

On a getaway week in Bansin Usedom, surprised to see a square-rigger on the horizon. She looks odd, as if the mizzen mast is missing, though. But it still adds a bit of romance to a rainy day's evening.

Yesterday, admittedly, but I'm just back with my camera.

The Gelt River, just below the Roman Quarry. Peaty water cutting through sandstone - it's what I grew up with, and feels 'just right'!

A few hundred yards downstream, it gets more erosional!

Full moon over Buzzards Bay last night. Lots of marine layer with interesting clouds up above. 24 hours before Isaias arrives here.

We had a little wind yesterday afternoon. It didn't last for long, left a nice swell in its wake and when it cleared and moved on to NH and ME the colors were lovely.

While I'm not Michael, what I do is right click on the image, choose copy. Then I come back here to a reply I've started, click on a blank space where I'm typing, right click, and choose paste. Then submit the post.

That storm over Montreal is impressive!

That just doesn't work on my computer, for some reason. Michael types in brackets etc. and it works really well. And yes, that storm photo is amazing!

Took a walkabout in the woods today. This is a closeup of Devil’s Club. You can see why it’s named so. I think to he plant is beautiful. It has strong medicinal properties.

Please, call me Michael. It's a long story...

The Luddite method of linking to pictures on other websites:

1.) Go to the website that has the picture you want to copy, put your mouse pointer on it and right-click.
2.) Select 'copy image address' from the pop-up menu.
3.) In the WBF 'Quick Reply' box, type two sets of brackets with the letters 'img' in the first one and '/img' in the second one.
4.) Place your cursor between the two sets of brackets and press ctrl-v to copy the image address into the WBF image command.

The command will look like this: sentence.jpg

5.)Press 'submit reply' and you are done.
