Here's my ride, just before setting off from near Koln..eventually landed in Oxford a few days later. Got a ferry from Rotterdam to Harwich.. 50 Euros including the bike! That seat bag shifts my butt too far forward, but it all works ok otherwise. Top box full of tools, chain lube etc, and space for my helmet. Bike cover on top.

I had these heat shields made up to keep the soft panniers away from the exhaust.. they work a treat.
