That takes some superb maneuvering to park it there.

If I were in the neighbourhood I love to accept and bring a good bottle of rum to celebrate it afterwards at sunset.
You would have a chance to sit where some of the greatest American sailors of our generation did on a boat that was arguably the fastest for its size of the era.

That would be enjoyable and great experience.

I have 'minor' shareholding in a company that owns the 'Stars & Stripes' 12 metre in which Denis Conner won back the America's cup.

Looks like my garage except there's a restored canoe hanging over the boat, other 2 boats are in the barn, guessing your garage is around 28 x 28'?

I need to cozy up to your syndicate!

In a San Franciscian twist - Imagine if the "intolerable" Tom Blackaller would have been allowed to share in the boat design program and to scrimmage with Connors in 1983 and again in 86... perhaps the Americans would have had a far better, winning program without loses and maybe a more currently engaged American sailing community.

In a friend's shop getting some finishing touches. There's a foot of snow on the ground & temps in the 20's F - so not the best sailing weather.

My sailboat and my powerboat are side by side in a shed at a boatyard in Southwest Harbor, ME. I have my sailing/rowing boat on a rack in the back yard under a tarp where my other older rowing boat is located. I built both those boats. I also have a dinghy hanging from the ceiling in the garage.

Fantail launch is in her shed.
14' Devlin fishing boat is covered with a tarp
Rushton pulling boat is on a rack in the garage.
44 year old FG canoe is in the shed also.
Wife's tupperyak is hanging in the garage.

Boating is over for the year. Went skiing for the first time this season.

My fiberglass center console is in my driveway. I normally store it in a more out of the way spot on my property, but I am repowering and it was easier to move the engine ( 600 lbs) from my boat to the buyers boat in the driveway.

    .

Plywood and a portable hoist get it done.

My plywood sailing skiff ( seen in the first pic) is also in the driveway: I was going to repaint, but missed my weather window. I'll clean it, cover it and get to it in Spring.

My aluminum canoe and my two Tupperyaks are beside my shed, out of view. The inflatable SUP is in its bG in the garage.

So, fiberglass, plywood, aluminum, rotomolded, inflatable. I need a carvel or clinker boat and a SOF craft to make my fleet fully diversified.

My brother-in-law had one of those. 26' with twin 275 Evinrudes on it. That thing could fly!
He had a house on the outer banks of N.C. and liked to go out to the Gulf Stream to fish.

I'm now thinking they might have been twin 175's. A long time ago and I'm far from a power boat expert...

air is around 600 round trip, the boat ride 90. If I stay with you, the whole weeklong trip including the boat ride should cost me about 710 dollars including meals, transportation and tips.

Me, too. There's a boat-shaped empty spot in my driveway.

I now have one boat, a ten foot aluminiumium flood emergency boat hung on the side of the house, for when the pineapple express melts the record Sierra snowpack and the levee fails.

In the meantime I have a virtual boat, in the form of full plans for an Alden Indian open day sailer, the space to build it, and a full-sized thirteen year old grandson who will need a summer project. If I can pry the Xbox away from his thumbs, I intend to infect him with a woodenboat bug and inflict on him a taste of the joy of working wood without electricity.

The 26 is (was) rated for 500 hp, so probably the 175's.

Cool Re: Where is your boat now?

My boat is in somebody's yard with a "free boat" sign on it.
Going to look at it tomorrow.
