    Default Steinbeck

I finally picked up a copy of Sea of Cortez (old worn hardback version) and upon opening it I come upon this:

"A horse, a beautiful dog, arouses sometimes a quick emotion, but of inanimate things only a boat can do it. And a boat, above all other inanimate things, is personified in man's mind."

Looking forward to a hot cup of tea and my reading chair...

It is a good read! I trust you will enjoy the mention of the "Hanson Sea Cow" aka The Johnson Sea Horse.

I have the book somewhere on my shelves. A good read.

I'm high on life. The trick is to grind it up and snort it.

I think you could add planes, trains, cars, buildings, bridges, art, sculpture to the list, to name a few.
