BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — President Trump used his Twitter account Saturday to spread a baseless conspiracy theory about the death of Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy and politically connected financier who had been facing multiple charges of sex trafficking involving underage girls.

Trump’s own Justice Department announced that Epstein, who was being held in a federal corrections facility, died by “apparent suicide.”

But Trump appeared to disregard his administration’s statement, instead retweeting a message from conservative actor and comedian Terrence K. Williams, who suggested Epstein’s death might be tied to former president Bill Clinton. Williams also questioned how Epstein could have died by suicide if he had been on suicide watch.

The claim is completely unsubstantiated, and federal officials say Epstein was not on suicide watch at the time of his death. He had been placed on suicide watch last month but then taken off within a week, according to a person familiar with the matter.

You have got to wonder if he is going to try and push Barr and the DOJ to frame the Clintons for the death, or try and place them at the center of Epstein's dirty little empire. He had all of his little internet minions at the White House for a Summit and we have no idea what was discussed, maybe it was a script that is about to be rolled out.

The tell here is Trump trying to distract us with a tired old Clinton misdirection implications.

Watch the video half way down this article. Trump and Epstein can be seen gawking at women during a 1992 party, this would be relatively innocent if all they were doing was watching women dance, but knowing Epstein's hobby, and then watching Trump make Epstein turn red, visibly uncomfortable, must have been a feat of nastiness. Our dear POTUS, ladies and gentlemen.

FBI executed a search warrant on Epstein's house in Manhattan simultaneous with his arrest. With a battering ram. Wouldn't surprise me if they did the same at his USVI ... pleasure palace.

Wonder what the FBI got in those raid(s)?
