Chances are that he simply hung himself. Couldn't face life in prison. The big question: How did this happen if he was on suicide watch? I believe that suicide watch means a prisoner is checked every 15 minutes or so. I always thought that suicide watched also precluded anything that could be tied into a knot. Silly me.

There are "safe" clothes so designed that they're unable to be used for any kind of self harm, generally used for people judged to be high risk of suicide. If he was on suicide watch, he should have been in those, and in a safe room.

I'm wondering if some bulldog of a prosecutor will be investigating this to see where the threads of implication lead or if its just going to be quietly let fade away.

Let's see: On 8/02 in response to the initial Epstein thread (A Million Pages) I posted "Who wants to bet on the odds for Epstein surviving long enough for trial?" so here we are... This thing really smells. My wife is a high powered psychologist and over 40+ years has seen many, many really bad things and heard about many. In her experience she says that the odds for narcissistic personality types killing themselves is VERY low. There are just way too many rich and powerful who, on hearing today's news about Epstein, are very, very relieved. JC

I remember that, I can't find the thread and what my response was.

Being denied bail may have been an issue in his thinking if he did indeed commit suicide.

But yeah, given the evidence that he would have against the rich and powerful, this stinks. Just yesterday I thought, there was a story about a woman alleging she was slaved out by Epstein to Bill Richardson and Bill Mitchell, her story had some sketchiness to it but on the other hand you would not expect a young girl to remember all details from years ago. If true, high-up people.

There better be video and review, at least of access to his cell. He could also have been encouraged to commit suicide.

With him dead, it solves so much for a lot of potential accused, I'm sure he didn't keep a written record of things.
