    Default Moorings at wooden boat?

Sailing through the area this weekend and wondering if there are guest moorings or suitable anchorage at the wooden boat school? I know it’s a busy weekend with the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta going on Saturday. Just wondering what my options are. Thanks, Scott

The few moorings will be taken this weekend but the whole of Babson Harbor is good anchorage with plenty of room even this at ERR.

Oh, man, I just drove back to Portland from Brooklin. Will be back on the 12th. Will you still be around? Are you going to the Sweet Chariot Music Festival on Swans Island the 6th to the 8th?

We hope to be there Friday through Monday this week. Unfortunately we won’t be able to make the swans island festival

Of course! We forgot the mayonnaise for the lobster rolls so we made it from scratch - best lobster rolls ever. And that thunderstorm when we were back on the mooring, an exciting day all around.

How much does your boat draw? If she's shallow draft (4' or under) you can anchor in the easternmost section where it shallows up at low tide.

I remember that thunderstorm! A boat next to us started dragging down toward the WB float. Billy Black picked me up and we steered the runaway to an empty mooring. I was barefoot and the boat's deck was absolutely slick. Almost went overboard and then I would have been useless!
