This boat looks good, and reasonable.

This is my beef with people selling their boats.

    To what design?
    How much does it weigh?

    Basics, people

and for an ebay boat I'm basically buying unseen. Better pictures, high def, so I can zoom in.

He may not know. If I had room and didn't already own an ultralight canoe, I would ask questions through ebay or even take a ride.

Dacron skin and carbon fiber reinforcements reeks of Plat Monfort.

I thought so too. I contacted the guy, he built it in high school class, eight other boats were built there too in 2015. I asked about the design, he didn't answer and may not remember. I do hope someone buys it and uses it.

I agree, especially with the the trusses for the thwarts. I used to paddle the ADKs with a Snowshoe Explorer 14, really nice boat, 28lbs, made the portages easy.

HOWEVER, at 18' I thought this would be the Snowshoe Traveler 18 but that only has one center thwart and SEATS. The boat in the Ebay listing has two thwarts and NO seats, which is very reminiscent of the Arrow 14, a totally different boat. EDIT: In the Arrow 14 there are six ribs between thwarts, and six ribs in the Ebay Boat.

Without better pictures and/or better specs it is very difficult to ascertain.
