    Default The occupation guessing game.

Post a question you constantly receive and let us guess your occupation.

For mine: "Can't you just plug the thing in to it and tell me what's wrong?"

In a previous job, "Oh wow, are you a pilot?" Got to the point where I'd just say yes, and string them along a bit.

One of the problems with this game is that most of the time the caller is not asking the right question. First I have to figure out the question before I might be able to answer. an example might be ...... " My friend did this(*), will it work for my boat?"

From a hundred years ago, when I was a kid in the air force, being a protective coatings specialist, 'is this paint wet?' While putting their finger in the wet paint. Then, 'Ooh. How do I get this off? ' Also, 'Can I walk on this drop cloth?' WHILE walking on it. And then softly tiptoeing with muddy feet, across to some goal, 'I just wanna get this one thing.' Yeah, and then when you're done getting it are you gonna clean our drop cloth?

Will this break if I sit on it...?

A question I should be getting asked sometimes, 'is it gonna hurt if I do this ?' Well, yeah, but only if it goes south, which of course...if you need to ask.
    Been here, done this.

It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.
