    Lightbulb Chuffed Dad

I am real chuffed for my son, Christopher.

Today he has just got his BA Degree, Honours, First Class, in Business Management with Marketing.

There will be a few rums to celebrate when he gets back home tomorrow.

Cheers! Please, when he arrives, admonish him to “Mind his business!”

Will he continue for an MBA? Any idea where, if so?

Please do, in all seriousness, send my hearty congratulations to him, and his entire support system, including yourself, of course. Well done, all around.

    Peace,
    Robert

    Congrats all round.

    Thanks you.
I suspect the plan is to do a year or so in a job and then do the MBA - not sure where yet.
He was 'headhunted' by a firm here (where he did two sessions of practical experience) to start as assistant to the CEO.

Thank you. My contribution was to be fortunate enough to be able to give him the tools, opportunity and encouragement to do it. I cannot claim anything else. He did it not me.

I am just very exceedingly chuffed.

My congratulations to him as well. You've obviously had a hand in all of this. Well done to you too.

As for an MBA... they're best digested after a bit of experience - and I do mean a bit more than a year. An executive MBA, to coin a very old phrase.

The snows of age are settling on my head.

I no longer (as of yesterday) have a daughter as a teenager.

She celebrated her 20th birthday in Venice (Europe) with her boyfriend.

Look forward to hearing of the results.

I'm sure they will excel themselves.

Graduation went very well, as did the celebrations.

He also received an award for the most promising project (subject of his thesis/dissertation/submission) in the Business Administration with Marketing course.

    So even more chuffed.
