You Lefties are slipping over the OP. I got called out in the Bilge for once saying Il Duce was hanged. I got corrected that he was tried and shot first by the Red partisans after a trial. It was just the abuse of his corpse after it had been dumped by his executioners that I had remembered from the History books. But the modern Left won't have partisans. You guys are so anti-gun, your young SJWs lack any marksmanship skills. I once referred to the need to have crew served weapons in overwatch to really do barricades, and Bilge rats claimed I was making a non sensical word salad...

Don't bet on those marksmanship skills...
Now that's true. He was dead before he was strung up along with his mistress.Am not sure how your statement makes an anti-gun connection but....
PS, I have yet to hear anyone opposed to guns as in take them away from gun owners which is the NRA's mantra, I and the ones I know want enforcement etc. of the gun laws as to who is allowed to have them. Yes, some should be banned outright; MR 15s for example. You don't need on for hunting unless you can't hit a barn door.
Italy didn't have any leftist partisans in 1935 either. When things go south, people learn new skills. Let us all sincerely hope it never comes to that in the US.
And let me also make it perfectly clear, while I think Mr Trump is a loathsome and dangerous person, likely a criminal, I wish anything that happens to him to be done strictly according to the law.

My mistake. They were merely communist Guerrillas, not real Reds like DNC presidential candidate Reds, lol:
"On 25 April 1945, allied troops were advancing into northern Italy, and the collapse of the Salò Republic was imminent. Mussolini and his mistress Clara Petacci set out for Switzerland, intending to board a plane and escape to Spain.[180] Two days later on 27 April, they were stopped near the village of Dongo (Lake Como) by communist partisans named Valerio and Bellini and identified by the Political Commissar of the partisans' 52nd Garibaldi Brigade, Urbano Lazzaro. During this time, Petacci's brother posed as a Spanish consul.[181] After several unsuccessful attempts to take them to Como they were brought to Mezzegra. They spent their last night in the house of the De Maria family.
The next day, Mussolini and Petacci were both summarily shot, along with most of the members of their 15-man train, primarily ministers and officials of the Italian Social Republic. The shootings took place in the small village of Giulino di Mezzegra and were conducted by a partisan leader who used the nom de guerre Colonnello Valerio. His real identity is unknown, but conventionally he is thought to have been Walter Audisio, who always claimed to have carried out the execution, though another partisan controversially alleged that Colonnello Valerio was Luigi Longo, subsequently a leading communist politician in post-war Italy.[182][183] Mussolini was killed two days before Hitler and his wife Eva Braun committed suicide. Valerio and Bellini didn't have books in their hand, they had guns when they were part of their unit's effort to control territory being taken from the government of Italy by the people...
It is not a Constitutional right to hunt. It is actually a right to protect from Tyranny...So you got to have the ability to use a current military firearm. Of course, we grew up in an era where that was interpreted as the States had the right...not the individual.

If you need an MR 15, You had better find a different occupation. Could I suggest yo take up chess? Oh wait, chess takes a lot of forethought and experience. Never mind! And the key is interpreted. The Constitution refers to a well organized militia, are you a member of one, meet 3x's a week on the commons to practice? Didn't think so.

Go easy on me. I was conforming in advance to your perspective. I was a member of a semi organized militia for 18 years. During most of that time we were 90% combat ready while regular Army units were usually only about 60%. We always thought we were the state's militia, in actuality we were federally funded and controlled. The real state militia members were never known to us and they didn't meet once a month. But, if you read conspiracy rags like Vanity Fair and Gore Vidal's article on the OKC bombers you will see an accurate account of what my state's real militia were doing to help build the bomb used.
I don't shoot guns or own any assault rifles because after 18 years shooting is less fun for me than a roofer has pounding nails.

Perhaps a clue why .liberals are targeting Barr.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Attorney General William Barr will not recuse himself from involvement in the new indictment unveiled this week by federal prosecutors in Manhattan charging financier Jeffrey Epstein with sex trafficking, a Justice Department official said Tuesday.
The official added, however, that Barr has been and will remain recused from overseeing the department's review into how federal prosecutors in Florida, including now-Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, previously reached a plea deal with Epstein that has since come under scrutiny as being too lenient.
His recusal in that review stems from Barr's prior work with the law firm Kirkland & Ellis. Acosta also previously worked at the firm.

Ladies and gentlemen, Landrith has just called domestic terrorists, mass murderers, those who killed 168 innocent civilians including 19 young children in a day care center, "my state's real militia".

That is an inflammatory and damaging characterization of my post which was actually referring to a Mainsteam publication Vanity Fair's article where Gore Vidal stated that at a lake in Kansas some people identified by Vidal as members of the Kansas state militia helped build the fertilizer bomb in the Ryder rental truck. It caught my attention at the time because the Oklahoma City bombing was a horrific tragedy and I spent a lot of time with the Kansas Army National Guard and I did not know the men Vidal named.
"Farley was testifying for the defense about his experience a few days before the bombing. Farley, an employee of the Fort Riley Outdoor Recreation Center, near Geary Lake, had already told the F.B.I. that on April 17 or 18, 1995, he had gone to the lake to scout out the fishing potential. After inspecting the lake, Farley drove down the road that led back to the highway, but his departure was slowed by a number of vehicles parked close to the exit—a pickup, a large stakebed truck, a brown car, and a Ryder truck—and standing near the vehicles were several men. The large truck was burdened with what he believed were bags of ammonium nitrate fertilizer. “It looked like it was completely weighted down,” Farley told the jury. He thought the truck was stuck due to the weight of the fertilizer, and decided to offer assistance. He quickly changed his mind when one of the men—the same man, he believed, he was identifying more than two and a half years later in court—shot him a nasty glare. The man was standing practically next to Farley’s car, and he had a number of distinguishing features, including a beard with no mustache. A few days later, after the bombing, Farley claims, he saw the man again. This time on TV, being interviewed about militia issues. By then it was known that the bomb had been detonated in the back of a Ryder truck that had allegedly been rented in Junction City, Kansas, close to Geary Lake. "

I gather you Keith didn't take a proprietary concern as a tax paying citizen as it has come out since that the Oklahoma City bomber continued to have explosive training by the regular Army long after he was supposedly separated from service.

So, Rummy, look back carefully, there are any number of coments herein decrying the OP. So why you think the " whole thread " is disturbing is beyond me. I hope you were equally disturbed by our current president's call for his rally goers to riot, and for Second Amendment solutions to the Hillary 'crisis'.
Were you?

Next election, vote against EVERY Republican, for EVERY office, at EVERY level. Be patriotic, save the country.
Against my better judgement, I'll bite.
So you're referring to the National Guard as the 'real state militia'? And claiming that members of the Kansas National Guard were involved in the Oklahoma City bombing - or claiming that Gore Vidal (who has almost as much of a fondness for conspiracy theories as you do) said they were?
My understanding (which corresponds to the dictionary definition) is that a "militia" means an improvised military force, raised on an ad hoc basis from the general population in an emergency, or an unofficial military group (as the Italian partisans you referred to earlier). That doesn't accurately describe the National Guard - although the National Guard is the closest modern equivalent to the 'well-regulated militia' mentioned in the Constitution. (Militias in that sense have been obsolete as military forces for about 200 years, but never mind . . .) Thus, perhaps, a misunderstanding. I don't intend to mischaracterize your posts. You say a lot of things I think are stark raving mad, but I want to respond to what you actually intend to say.

My great uncle was killed by lightening playing golf. It could happen.
Maybe it could happen here -
On the same day as Mussolini left Milan, the CNLAI declared:
The members of the fascist government and those fascist leaders who are guilty of having suppressed constitutional guarantees, destroyed the people's freedoms, created the fascist regime, compromised and betrayed the country, bringing it to the current catastrophe are to be punished with the penalty of death. — CLNAI, Decree issued 25 April 1945
No, I was in the National Guard. If you look at it, it is very much a federal creation. Like the various highway patrol organizations importantly called "State Police", also largely federally controlled. If you look at History before the 1930's,you will see in many encounters you would, of course, remember learning about as a Lefty where state officials cause the union strikers to be gunned down by a "state militia". Well, that bunch of thugs hired by Republican factory owners is not the National Guard we know of today. Federal funds, rules and standards started taking over the traditional state militias in the late 30's and then after WWII they became an extension of the Army. Meanwhile, especially in Western states you can find they have both a National Guard (Army and Airforce), and a true state militia. Still with a largely informal and honorary leadership when acknowledged officially, but I am sure willing to fill out the ranks with paid thugs to protect mines or factories...
In the constitutional sense, Keith Wilson is Minnesota's militia. When your governor calls up men at arms to defend your sanctuary cities from President Trump's tanks, you will be exercising the right to bear arms (your state's right) as we understood it in the 1960's and 1970's...
