i did finally buy a passlode gas nailer about a week before they became obsolete. did the same thing with my first flatscreen t.v.

Not much to offer... but I do have one minor fashion mistake that seems to have stuck with me.

High school. A summer weekend. Walking the promenade in Seaside, Oregon - among the trinkets, tourists, salt-water taffy, and bumper-car rides. Went into a clothing store and fell in love with a rather gaudy striped long-sleeved henley shirt with built-in biceps-garters. The 'riverboat gambler' look. I only wore it a few times. Every time I did - it garnered a mixed reaction of puzzlement and ridicule. IIRC, the fudge I bought next door was perfectly fine. Hard to go wrong with fudge.

the beer brewing club guys that make a lot of cider made a contraption using a new garbage disposal unit and PVC to juice all of their fruit. probably cheaper than that press and way easier to use.

A '74 Saab Sonett. Had it a year, realized there was too much overlap with motorcycles, and it needed a clutch soon. (You pull the engine to replace the clutch.) Sold it
