Is white ash good for planking?

I'm pretty sure there are a hell of a lot more than 300 copper rivets in there...

Schooner, that's the $30,000 question. I'm pretty sure Ken laid on lots of green Cuprinol, whatever difference that would make. Beautiful job but with these questions and much more to do.

That planking doesn't look much like ash to me...but hard to tell from a pic. Could be a good deal for someone?

there was a fairly quick discussion on Facebook about it with the new owners and the photos but apparently they didn't find anybody there either.

    Seriously.
How hard is it to post "Free 50hp diesel engine, must take boat with it"

I know from experience it (with smaller items) it's harder to give things away free than it is to sell them!

Ash planking?????? Please tell me it's not so! if it is, that's probably why nobody wants it!

I have no way to get up there or have the boat moved. I'm about to have surgery if my doc approves. My finances won't allow it until after I recuperate from the medical bills. I would love to have the engine and all associated hardware for my boat plus the electronics they say is with it. I'm heartbroken to see this boat and all its bits go to the landfill.

What a shame, Ken put his heart and soul in her. Ken milled all the lumber right there on the property.
I wonder how Shirley is doing?
