    Default Motorwell drain

Small question for a small part...
Any opinions on plastic vs. stainless motorwell drains?

Whether one chooses metal or plastic is largely aesthetic in my opinion. Brass will look real, " boaty," especially once it starts turning green.

In either event, I would drill an over-sized hole. Two-diameters. Fill with epoxy. When that cures, drill the final hole in the center of the annulus you created. Then, instal metal or plastic....or nothing at all.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

Kevins' third option..nothing beyond a hole in the epoxy.
    Set it ...forget it.

Thanks Kevin, I never considered the drill, fill, drill method. I'm only reluctant because the hull exterior is finished and painted...
