    what would one look at in regards to the 'scaled up' part? does that raise any 'red flags'?

    I bet I could trailer that behind my prius....

    I'm pretty sure calling it a 'scaled-up version of Joel White's Shellback" just means it's his Pooduck skiff design, the less well known 12' 10" big sister of the Shellback AND it's more suitable for carrying adults: https://www.woodenboat.com/boat-plan...-pooduck-skiff

    If the boat is well built it's a steal. The Shellback kit alone costs twice that. And this one has a trailer!

    Even if it were just stretched I'd be fine with it.
    I already have a tender. And a sailing dory, canoe, four folding boats....
