Default man accidentally shoots himself in the gronicals at Lowe’s

Of of course it could have just as easily been another customer, an employee or a little kid but no infringement!

frightening moments for customers shopping at the Lowe’s store in Bowling Green on Friday when a gun went off.According to sister station WBKO, the firearm discharged in aisle 23. An employee said he heard a pop, and then heard children screaming.
Bowling Green police say a customer was adjusting the weapon in its holster when the gun accidentally fired, hitting the man’s groin and leg.
He was reportedly taken to the hospital. His condition is currently unknown.”

I don't ordinarily approve of guns going of in public places, or the jack-@sses that carry them, but this is the perfect ending to the story. With any luck, he won't reproduce.

Some time ago I went into our local convenience/gas station and there was a guy (one of the town selectmen) with a weapon holstered on his hip. I just turned around and went out, holding the door for a woman carrying her small child. They looked frightened. You never know.

There were so many shootings on the local news tonight that it was heartbreaking. A third grader was killed in a park while having a picnic with her family. A gun battle broke out over and argument on the basketball court. She was struck and killed.

    "Freedom ain't free."

Some enterprising entrepreneurs should declare a Second Amendment Day holiday, say on the second Monday of the second month and start having sales to memoralize all the people killed by "accidental gunshots".
The best statement I've seen from this latest carnage came from a student who lived through it -

"My generation will not allow this to continue!"

FFS American gun laws are insane. Plain and simple - insane.

I doubt he can go off cocked now either.

I think he deserves an honourary mention in the Darwin awards.
