Default Grebe is done! 13' Sharpie Build

Started building Grebe back in September and I'm finally "done".....as done as a boat ever is. This is a Selway-Fisher design, the Drake 13 Sharpie, modified to have a daggerboard rather then centerboard, and a balanced lug rather than standing lug. Going to launch this weekend. Wish me luck!

Thanks to all of you at WB Forum that answered so many questions throughout the process.

Nicely done! I like those handholds fore and aft. How tall is your ceiling that you can step the mast inside?!

Looks lovely. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE GET SOMEONE IN A BOAT TO TAKE YOUR 1ST LAUNCH PHOTOS! Pics from the dock rarely do boats justice, so if you can get a friend with a camera into a kayak or canoe =-= do it. ;-)

I like it! Could this be buildt with solid wood? (Ofcourse ask the designer :-)) Not too many sharpies in Norway, so it makes me curious... Something about the really simple construction... good luck splashing, and please make some videos too,,, from a companions boat :-) Anyone knows of photos of a 18 ft. Drake?
