Default The Polar Sea on Netflix

This documentary was released about 5 years ago but itís new to me. Three friends sail the Northwest Passage on an old Hallberg-Rassy 31. Iíve seen the first part of 10 but it looks promising. Any of you guys seen it yet?

You would think they would show it there of all places!?

Terrific recommendation, thank you, Steven. Greenland’s rising out of the sea?! And the ice music reminds me of an experimental percussion band we had here, once upon a time, From Scratch, which played jandals (flip-flops) on plastic drainpipes. Google them; it’s worth it. “Pacific 3 2 1 0” was their protest against nuclear testing in the islands.

My kids played some instruments like that we made from big poly irrigation pipe. Great fun.

Just started watching. That's a small boat in those waters! Looks cold.

The narrator is bringing me close to abandoning what could have been a great doco.
